Our Restaurant

Established in November 2019, fulfilling a long-standing aspiration to provide an authentic dining experience in Tauranga. At Fife Lane, we display our steadfast dedication to exceptional cuisine and wine within a sophisticated and welcoming atmosphere.

Imagine savouring sophisticated cocktails in a warmly lit space featuring natural wood and brick textures. Observe an array of aged meats exhibited in a bespoke glass, meat locker that pays homage to traditional butcher shops of yesteryear, or peruse our carefully curated selection of vintage wines, meticulously stored in our dedicated wine room.

We are fortunate to have a unique and rare Mibrasa oven, a closed charcoal grill originally crafted in Spain. By harnessing the power of fire and its embers, the Mibrasa imparts a distinctive charcoal aroma and flavour to our dishes. This method of cooking enables food to preserve its inherent flavours while releasing its distinct taste, thereby enhancing the overall depth and richness of our menu.

East Rock is the culmination of four generations’ experience fishing the East Coast. Our small inshore boats carefully harvest fish on short trips, to ensure your fish is delivered wharf side fresh.
